tip tap

In Tuscany you can pay contactless
for your bus and tram tickets

Contactless payment is now available for purchasing tickets on board using credit/debit cards, smartphones, and enabled wearables.
Mastercard, Visa and American Express cards are accepted

The service has been gradually activated and is now available on all urban and suburban networks.

HOW IT WORKS

Urban lines: tap every time you board
Mixed-fare, suburban and fast route lines: tap on when you board, tap off when you exit

1 CARD = 1 TICKET

Each card (or associated device) allows only one passenger to travel at a time.
To purchase tickets for multiple people, download the app at bus

HOLD YOUR CARD NEAR THE TICKET VALIDATION MACHINE

The contactless validator machine looks like this:

A green screen means you have successfully checked in

while a red screen indicates your ticket has not yet been activated

On urban lines, tap every time you board. If your journey involves changing buses or trams,
you will not be charged additional tickets within the validity period of the ticket purchased with the first tap.

On mixed fare, surban and fast lines, remember to tap also just before getting off.
If you do not, you will be charged the cost of the entire route.

WHAT ARE THE COLOURS FOR?

How much does the ticket cost?

The ticket price is NOT increased.

Always use the same card or device

You must use the same card or device for all validations made within the same journey

 To check your purchases

To check your purchases and download receipts, access the dedicated portal. No registration is required. You must have made at least one purchase with the physical card to be able to check and download receipts for tickets purchased via smartwatch or smartphone
